Begbroke Village Hall was built in 1947 and is set in a four acre field which now includes a children's playground, bowling green and a community orchard. It was built on land given to the village in 1947 and is owned by the villagers of Begbroke and run on their behalf by a management committee who are appointed by the major users of the hall. The hall is a registered charity and is run in accordance with the terms laid down in the original Trust Deed.

Wheelchair access to the front door and a mobility toilet with baby changing facilities have been added in recent years and other major internal refurbishment took place in 2019, including provision of WiFi and a projector screen. This year (2022), we added a large monitor screen for connectiing to via either mirroring or HMDI (cables available on request). The screen can be linked to the internal speaker system if need be. The PA system is also available on request.

For reasons of hygiene and safety dogs are not allowed in the hall, on the playing field, within the bowling green, within the children’s playground or in the playgroup.
